Joining the Wellness Walk and Research Run, an event held at La Trobe University Bundoora Campus that raised money for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre. A beautiful 5km walk in the sun with Olivia cheering us on.

Attending Oz Comic Con in Melbourne with a Marvel Mega Fan pass, weekend entry and a collection of Marvel goodies. Dressed in nostalgic ’60s costumes and enjoying time with friends and creating more memories. An enjoyable weekend with some mingling and spending.

Attending Supanova in Melbourne, with friends. Reminiscing over past events, our friendships, and all the things that we have accomplished. Meeting celebrities, getting photos and autographs. Catching up with friends and enjoying a wonder around the even and making some purchases.

First event of 2017, with the boys from the Dwarf. Another brilliant Red Dwarf event, these guys are always an absolute blast and they create a brilliant atmosphere. There is always so much laughter happens when they are entertaining us with their stories and antics.

The Australian Movies and Comics Expo from a volunteer’s perspective. The atmosphere, the fun, the friendships and the family. The experiences and all the memories. I’m honoured to be a part of such an amazing team of people and to have been working these events for the past decade.

Recently went and watched the new Ghostbusters film, an amazing remake of a great cult classic. This film has the perfect cast, an all female ghost busting team. With great special effects, a new catchy theme song and cameos from the OG Ghostbusters, what a brilliant film.

Attending OCC Melbourne, spending time with friends and creating amazing memories. Getting entertaining and amusing photos with brilliant actors. Wearing costumes and meeting new people. Spending time within our great community of friends and family.

Attended the Supanova event on the weekend, I brought a friend along who had never attended an event before. Saw some great costumes, spent time with friends and explored the venue. Saved my money this time, didn’t buy any photos or autos and nothing at the exhibition stalls.

A whirl-wind trip to meet Ming-Na Wen, working overnight and then flying out to Sydney, heading to the event for an awesome time. A fantastic funny photo, an entertaining panel and having a laugh with Ming-Na. Great memories were created at this event in a short amount of time.

The fourth event in four months, and the second event with Amanda Tapping in attendance. What a great weekend spent with friends, having fun and making memories. Getting funny photos and having a laugh. Working Dennys Ilic’s stall and selling his products.

Attending an event at the National Space Centre in Leicester, with the Red Dwarf cast in attendance. Frustrated to miss out on a photo token, so got a refund on our tickets. Still ended up staying and getting autographs, got to meet Chris Barrie and take a sneaky photo with the cast.

Another UK Event with Amanda as a guest, a weekend filled with crazziness, friendship and good memories. As well as laughter, back massages, near stripping, grope denial and sexual harassment. There was football, alcohol, hangovers a flash mob and more. Plus Amanda Tapping.

Another Red Dwarf event in Melbourne, with Craig Charles, Danny John-Jules, Hatty Hayridge and Mac McDonald. A very fun and entertaining event, with so much laughter. Looking after Danny and having a good time, making more amazing memories.

This years Armageddon was a very Farscape one with Claudia Black, Ben Browder and Gigi Edgley in attendance. As well as other great guests like Janet Varney, Norman Lovett, Dan Slott and more. Another great event making memories, with friends family and amazing guests.

Solo road trip to Adelaide, spending the weekend helping out Dennys Ilic by selling prints and photo books. Meeting Emilie Ullerup from Sanctuary and seeing other guests like RDA, Teryl and David Nykl again. Spending time with amazing friends and making great new memories.
