The next event on the calendar this year was Supanova Melbourne, where I got to see Cliff Simon and Rainbow Sun Francks again and as always had many many many laughs. Leading up to the event I had contacted Gifts for the Geek for bagsies on the Rainbow Sun Francks event poster, wanted it to add to my growing collection. I just had to have a Rainbow poster because he is one of my favourite guests, after all it was a convention with him where I popped my Con cherry as we called it.

Throughout the weekend I got photos with Wil Wheaton and Morena Baccarin, I asked Morena if she would put on my Goa’uld hand device for the photo just for fun and she did and was amazing and lovely even though it fell of slightly when the photo was taken. When I was getting my photo autograph by Will Wheaton I sarcastically said “I loved how you got run over but that truck in Criminal Minds” he then responded by telling my friend and I a story about what was originally going to happen with his character, which was pretty awesome,I love when actors chat to you about that kinda stuff its something special you have to remember.

At this event I met Dennys Ilic for the first time, he is the amazingly talented photographer who had photographed Amanda and Robin when they had both been in Australia last year for Armageddon Expo. He’s photography is absolutely incredible and he is a lovely human being.

The weekend ended with another Gifts for the Geek Aftermath party where vegemite made an appearance after learning that Cliff hadn’t tried it before, Rainbow still hates the stuff and I love picking on him about it because I’m nice like that. The aftermath party was great as always, it’s the best time to have fun with friends, the fact that some guests were there just added to the entertainment of the evening, I miss these nights and the fun with friends, so many good memories.
