Time for another Red Dwarf event and again so much laughter was had here, these guys are brilliant all of them. This years event included the return of Danny John-Jules and Craig Charles as well as Hattie Hayridge and Mac McDonald and a fun Skype chat with Chris Barrie. The event again was run by First Contact Conventions and always it was an amazingly run event and just a great fun day.

As I was gearing up to head to England again in a couple of days I was saving money for the trip so I didn’t have too much money to give, so this time there was no VIP ticket and I only got a photo and autograph from Hattie Hayridge. As Chris was a Skype guest the event was offering autographs to people who wanted them, as in he would sign items for people and them get sent back, a pretty great system and I would have gone for one but I had made plans to go to an event in England that he would be at so would be getting on in person there and I was pretty excited about that.

The event started off with the Skype call with Chris, which went really well as the first event I’d attended with a Skype call I was quite impressed with how well it went and how clear the video and audio were. Next up was Mac MacDonald’s panel and he was great as well, told some amazing stories. He talked to us about his experience working with actors such as Bruce Willis and Jack Nicolson. Next up was Hattie who was lovely, she was followed by Danny who then got joined by Craig and those two are hilarious together and kept us entertained.
